Scotland’s Lorraine Hyde made history at the 2025 Target Scottish Open, completing a remarkable treble by winning the Scottish Open, the Scottish Classic, and the Ladies Pairs alongside Louise Paterson.
In a dramatic Scottish Open final at the Normandy Hotel, Renfrew, Scotland, Hyde looked to be cruising to victory with a 4-0 lead over Germany’s Irina Armstrong. However, Armstrong staged a sensational comeback, clawing her way back into the match to level things at 4-4 and pile the pressure on Hyde.
With Armstrong sitting on 54, poised to complete the turnaround, Hyde produced an unbelievable moment of brilliance, checking out a stunning 160 finish to seal a thrilling 5-4 victory and claim the title in spectacular fashion.
Adding to her Scottish Classic title and Ladies Pairs win, Hyde’s triumph marks an extraordinary weekend of darts, cementing her place as one of Scotland’s finest. Congratulations to all the finalists and to Hyde on an incredible achievement!
